Farm to Feet Teams with Black Folks Camp Too

100% American sock brand gathers all around the Unity Blaze

Farm to Feet has collaborated with Black Folks Camp Too (BFCT) to create a new sock style to promote BFCT’s mission to remove fear, add knowledge and invite more Black folks to camp, and enjoy the outdoor lifestyle with any and everyone.

The 3/4 technical hiking sock featuring the BFCT Unity Blaze is available on the organizations’ websites and at select retailers, with a larger rollout to all Farm to Feet retailers this August.  A portion of proceeds from the sale of the sock will benefit BFCT.

“Black Folks Camp Too is bringing more people into the outdoors including many right in our backyard in North Carolina,” said Matt Brucker, Farm to Feet General Manager. “Working with Earl [B. Hunter Jr.] and the team at Black Folks Camp Too, together, we can encourage more people to explore the outdoors and experience its rejuvenating power while inviting others to join us and increase diversity in the outdoors.”

The BFCT + Farm to Feet Unity Blaze sock is a 3-quarter crew technical hiker with targeted cushioning and ventilation to provide all-day comfort on the trail. The sock also features a seamless toe closure that reduces the chances of blisters. Comfort compression helps reduce fatigue while reinforcement in critical areas ensures durability.

“Our Unity Blaze socks are not just any kind of socks,” said Hunter, Black Folks Camp Too founder. “Our socks are helping folks signal to the world that they treat everyone, everywhere, equally while encouraging more Unity in the outdoor community!  Together, we are changing the world… one campfire at a time folks.”

Black Folks Camp Too’s mission is to remove fear, add knowledge and invite “more” Black folks to camp, and enjoy the outdoor lifestyle with any and everyone. Its Unity Blaze acts as a symbol to “treat everyone, everywhere, equally.”

The BFCT + Farm to Feet Unity Blaze sock retails for $25.  For more details on the sock, to find a local retailer, or purchase online, visit www.farmtofeet.com.
