Black Folks Camp Too’s foundational mission to Invite and Welcome “more” Black folks to camp and experience the Outdoor lifestyle with ANY and EVERYONE” while increasing Unity in the Outdoor Community and Beyond aligns seamlessly with Ramble, a Colorado-based collective of individuals who believe that everyone should have the opportunity to explore and enjoy the beauty of nature. Ramble is committed to creating a more inclusive outdoor camping community where every individual feels valued, heard, and empowered to embrace nature.
Earl B. Hunter, Jr, Founder and President of Black Folks Camp Too, says: “The real power of Unity Blaze Certification is educating the Outdoor Industry and Lifestylers on the WHY! In addition, we have positioned our Unity Blaze to be the symbol to Invite and Welcome more folks to Outdoor Lifestyle. When folks of ALL races, ages and genders see the Unity Blaze symbol, they know they are Invited and Welcomed! Ramble locations will now feature the Unity Blaze at their campgrounds, on their website and more.”
Both organizations focus on breaking down barriers, building bridges, and ensuring that everyone feels Invited and Welcomed in outdoor spaces.

At the heart of BFCT is the belief that when more Black folks become active camping enthusiasts and begin enjoying the outdoor lifestyle, it will help break down barriers to create more inclusive communities and stronger relationships overall.
